New Fiji-Bali itinerary, conservation partnership spice Paul Gauguin's 2017
Paul Gauguin Cruises' 2017 voyages include new 16- and 17-night Fiji and Bali itineraries and a collaborative program with the Wildlife Conservation Society.

The 16-night Fiji to Bali cruise departs April 29 from Lautoka, Fiji, and visits Espiritu Santo, Vanuatu; Guadalcanal, Solomon Islands; Samarai Island and Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea; Dili, Timor-Leste; Merauke, Komodo Island, Lembar (Lombok Island) and Benoa (Bali), Indonesia. The reverse itinerary, Bali to Fiji, stretches 17 nights and departs June 7.

2017 also reprises Paul Gauguin's long-standing itineraries, the seven-night 'Tahiti & the Society Islands' and 'Tahiti, the Society Islands & Tuamotus,' the 10-night 'Society Islands & Tuamotus,' the 11-night 'Cook Islands & Society Islands' and the 14-night 'Marquesas, Tuamotus & Society Islands.'

Also, the 12- and 13-night 'Society Islands, Cook Islands, Tonga & Fiji' itineraries return. These voyages feature Paul Gauguin Cruises’ two exclusive retreats—Motu Mahana, an islet off the coast of Taha’a, and a private beach in Bora Bora. The day at Motu Mahana offers watersports, Polynesian activities, a barbecue feast and cocktails from full-service and floating bars. At Bora Bora travelers can relax on a white-sand beach with refreshments, volleyball and snorkeling.

On the July 26, 2017, voyage, Paul Gauguin Cruises will present its third Reunion Cruise, a special 10-night 'Cook Islands & Society Islands' itinerary with two visits to Motu Mahana. Events include a festive dinner, cocktail and block parties, opportunities to mingle with senior staff and crew, and more.

A new global collaboration with the Wildlife Conservation Society will add educational programming for adults and families aboard The Gauguin. This includes lectures about marine science and wildlife conservation in the South Pacific and beyond. Additionally, during the summer months and holiday season, the Wildlife Conservation Society will be involved in the line's experiential family program.

The 2017 program was introduced with 50% off standard cruise fares on all voyages, plus included airfare from Los Angeles.
