An £11m restoration project is due to be completed when Cardigan Castle opens this spring.  The 12th century property, the birthplace of the National Eisteddfod, will include an events garden, a purpose-built restaurant located on the medieval castle walls and a permanent exhibition centre.

In 2016 any vessel over 170mtr will be able to anchor and use the new tender pontoon when calling into Fishguard Marina. The developments are ongoing and will be ready for April 1, 2016.
