Rixon, who left CLIA earlier this month after five years, will take up the newly created position of industry partnership executive at the Australian Federation of Travel Agents on July 17.
Juelich will be responsible for membership administration and will support membership activities.
She has had 15 years’ experience in the travel industry, including stints at Helloworld, Emirates, South Africa Tourism, the Australian Federation of Travel Agents and United Travel New Zealand.
Last year she worked for CLIA Australasia in a temporary capacity.
‘We are delighted to have Melissa back on board to support our members as we continue to grow our membership activities in both Australia and New Zealand,’ CLIA Australasia md Joel Katz said.
