MSC Seashore is the first Seaside EVO ship, 52 feet longer than MSC Seaside and MSC Seaview, allowing for some redesigned public areas, new spaces and greater passenger capacity
New restaurants and new restaurant locations, a double-deck show lounge, more suites and a higher passenger capacity than first announced are among the fresh details about MSC Seashore.

Western Mediterranean route

These emerged as MSC Cruises opened bookings for the ship's inaugural Mediterranean season. Starting in June 2021, MSC Seashore will sail a seven-night itinerary calling at Barcelona, Marseille, Genoa, Naples, Messina and Valletta.

MSC Voyagers Club members (repeat passengers) get a two-week jump on bookings, starting today, with a 5% bonus discount on top of their 5% Club discount. Sales open for the general public July 11, with 5% savings until Sept. 11, 2019.

MSC Seashore follows 2017's MSC Seaside and 2018's MSC Seaview, and is the first of two Seaside EVO ships with extended public spaces, more staterooms and the highest ratio of outdoor space per passenger in the MSC fleet.

MSC Seashore will be 52 feet longer than the earlier Seaside vessels, allowing for some redesigned public areas, new spaces and the optimization of other areas.

Room for 758 more passengers than Seaside

The 169,500gt ship has double-occupancy for 4,540 passengers and space for 5,877 passengers in total, up from the 5,646 first announced. This compares to the earlier ships' 153,500gt, 4,140 double occupancy and total capacity for 5,119 passengers

A new double-deck show lounge has been created below the aft pool, which is now on Deck 8, while the indoor pool on Deck 18 will be extended with an additional deck over and around the pool. The family offering has also been expanded with a bigger kids’ area and and even better water park.

New restaurants

A restaurant will be introduced for Aurea category guests and another main restaurant will be added. There will be a new location for the specialty restaurants on Deck 8, as the buffet will move to Deck 16.

This new position for the specialty restaurants allows for waterfront seating on the boardwalk, bringing diners closer to the sea.

Connecting rooms, more suites

MSC Seashore will also feature new stateroom designs such as connecting rooms for families and groups. The MSC Yacht Club will have a new style of suite with a walk-in wardrobe. In addition, there will be two more luxury suites with whirlpool baths, and 28 more terraced staterooms with their own private sunbathing area.

MSC Seashore will be fitted with latest environmental technology including an an exhaust gas cleaning system, an advanced wastewater treatment system; smart heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems that use recovered heat from machinery spaces; and LED lighting and smart devices to save energy. In addition, a selective catalytic reduction system will convert nitrogen oxide (NOx) into harmless nitrogen (N2) and water.

MSC Seashore is being built at Fincantieri's Monfalcone yard. Its maiden voyage is set for June 13, 2021. The next Seaside EVO ship is due for delivery 18 months later, in autumn 2023.
