New Norwegian cruise-tours feature tango, Iguazú, Easter Island
Norwegian Cruise Line introduced three new South America cruise-tours featuring Buenos Aires, Iguazú Falls and Easter Island. The pre- or post-cruise options range from three to five days and go with Norwegian Sun sailings starting in November.

The three-day 'Tour & Tango' in Buenos Aires features an evening dinner and tango show and where participants can go cheek-to-cheek with professional dancers for a tango lesson.

The five-day 'Buenos Aires & Iguazú Falls Eco-Explorer' cruise-tour includes three nights in Buenos Aires followed by a short flight to Iguazú for a two-day eco-tour of the area’s falls, a visit to the indigenous Guaraní community and more. At the 19th-century estancia (ranch) El Rosario de Areco, travelers will be welcomed by gauchos on horseback, learn the importance of the Pampas region to Argentina’s culture, see a gauchos and horses show and partake of a traditional Argentine barbecue.

In Chile, the 'Easter Island & Santiago Explorer' cruise-tour, five days with three spent on Easter Island, gives the opportunity to view the giant moai statues dating back centuries and visit the ceremonial village of Orongo. On the Chilean mainland, participants will tour and overnight in the capital, Santiago.

Norwegian Sun will cruise in South America from Nov. 21 through April 9, sailing alternating eastbound and westbound 14-day voyages between Buenos Aires and Chile's Valparaíso. Destinations include Montevideo, Uruguay, the Falkland Islands and scenic cruising through the Strait of Magellan.
