New partners boost rapidly expanding Tillberg Design of Sweden

Rapidly expanding design company Tillberg Design of Sweden(TDoS), with numerous cruise ship references, has made a number of its key staff partners in the business and also brought on board a strategic business partner.

Having seen its business grow dramatically over the last few years, staffing numbers have now climbed from 10 to over 100 architects and designers, working in teams from offices in Sweden, Poland and the US and turnover increased to SKR130m in 2018.

New partners and shareholders

Fredrik Johansson, owner & executive project director of TDoS commented, ‘We are delighted to announce that we, as a first step, have included the following colleagues as partners and shareholders in TDoS: Stefan Nilsson (ceo), Göran Ydstrand (chairman), Anders Rasmussen (project director), Helena Sawelin (project director), Daniel Nerhagen (project director)and Carl Lesvoix (graphics director).

With the outlook of continued growth, the group has also liaised with Swedish investment company AB Max Sievert as a strategic partner to make its business management competence and corporate finances even stronger, Johansson noted.

Owners Karin Falk, Michal Jackiewicz and Fredrik Johansson all remain in their current positions owning half of the company, with AB Max Sievert owning the other half.

Johansson speaking on design innovation at Seatrade Cruise Med

AB Max Sievert enters partnerships with very long-term time horizons, and only within a select number of the most innovative and well managed companies in Scandinavia, remarked Johansson who is speaking on cruise ship inteior design innovation at Seatrade Cruise Med in Lisbon, Septmber 19-20, 2018.

Designing for over five decades

TDoS has, for over more than five decades, planned and designed interiors for approximately 250 projects, including numerous cruise ships with luxury hotels, restaurants and high-end jewellry boutiques added to the company’s rapidly expanding reference list.

More recent newbuild cruise ship references include areas aboard MSC Cruises' Seaside and Seaview, Norwegian Getaway, Norwegian Escape and Mein Schiff 3 plus updates to Regent Seven Seas Voyager and Mariner as well as signage for Seven Seas Explorer.
