New reward benefits as CostaClub celebrates 15th anniversary
Costa Cruises celebrates the 15th anniversary of CostaClub by rewarding guests with exciting new benefits.

Costa Cruises’ guest loyalty programme ‘CostaClub’ is to undergo changes and additions this year as it celebrates its 15th anniversary.

Since its creation, members of the CostaClub have been on more than three million cruises, making use of its range of personalised privileges.

CostaClub members range from 18-102 years and consist of travellers from all over the world. 19 of the most loyal members have completed four round-the-world cruises and one guest has been on 100 cruises over the last five years, whilst another has chosen the same ship 40 consecutive times.

The new scheme will include two new membership ‘clubs’, Perla Diamante and Ambra,  bringing the total number of membership clubs to six joining acquamarina, Corallo, Perla, and Perla Oro. Each of the clubs has ersonalised benefits and privileges tailored to different types of traveller.

The Perla Diamante Club is the most exclusive club, offering services such as home luggage pick up and delivery, immediate boarding, complimentary upgrades, free access to the Club Restaurant throughout the entire cruise, front row theatre reservations and dedicated excursions.

The Ambra Club is dedicated to those who have never cruised with Costa before, enabling them to fully embrace the experience from a beginner’s perspective.

CostaClub will also introduce new ways to accumulate points based on the cruises over the last three years. The base points accredited for each cruise day will be awarded according to the type of cabin selected. Costs for Costa-partner airfares and on board expenses will also contribute to accumulating points.

The anniversary will also see the launch of a contest to win a holiday on Costa Cruises and the chance to win a jackpot of €50,000.

Neil Palomba, president of Costa Cruises, said: “The new CostaClub is an important investment by Costa and is based on our passion for innovation.'
