New Zealand’s Island Escape Cruises launches Tahiti programme
Island Escape Cruises, founded by Auckland-born Peter Bissett in 2006, has released a programme of 10- and seven-night cruises in Tahiti for 2016.

Bissett’s 24-passenger luxury boutique ship Island Escape began operating early 2007 with summers in Auckland and the Bay of Islands before expanding into Vanuatu for the winter seasons.
 
The child-free ship offers a range of price-inclusive activities such as snorkelling, kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing and shore excursions. There is an additional cost for flights in the on-board helicopter.  
 
Cabins are spacious with en-suites and the company has established a reputation for fine dining with complimentary wine at dinner.
 
The 10-night ‘Tahitian Affair’ departs Papeete for Bora Bora via Moorea, Huahine, Taha’a, Raiatea and Motu Iriru on May 12, June 16, July 21, August 25 and September 29. Fares, including all port charges, taxes and on-board services, are from NZ$8,950 per passenger for a double stateroom.
 
The seven-night ‘Tahitian Affair’ departs Bora Bora between May and October. Fares range from NZ$6,950 per passenger for a double stateroom.
 
There is an early bird saving of NZ$2,000 per couple for bookings paid in full before December 16, 2015.
 
There is an early bird discount of NZ$1,000 per couple for bookings deposited by December 16 this year.
