Norwegian Cruise Line's Norwegian Sun is sailing in South America this season
Nisomar, which harnesses data-analytic technology to inform its maritime services, nailed a partnership agreement with Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings for the 2017/18 cruise season in Chile.

Nisomar South America will serve the company’s three brands—Norwegian Cruise Line, Oceania Cruises and Regent Seven Seas Cruises—across 10 Chilean ports. Services include pilot embarkation/disembarkation, berthing assistance, liaison with port authorities and service launches for each visit.

The ports include Arica, Iquique, Coquimbo, San Antonio, Puerto Montt, Puerto Chacabuco, Punta Arenas and Posesion Bay.

Jaime Otero, regional managing director, Nisomar South America, said at the agreement signing: 'As a new business we are extremely pleased to sign our first launch services agreement with Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings, which has such an excellent reputation worldwide, and [we] look forward to an extremely successful season.'

Launched last spring, Nisomar offers analytics derived from big data that support business decisions, transformational management consultancy and port call services, covering all international regions. Capt. Claus Hyldager, formerly with Inchcape Shipping Services, leads the company as CEO.
