The deployment was announced by Norwegian Cruise Line president and CEO Andy Stuart Friday during the 'Elvis Duran and the Morning Show.' Duran, as earlier reported, will serve as the godfather of Norwegian Bliss.
The ship will reposition from the West to the East coast with a 20-night Panama Canal voyage from Los Angeles to New York Nov. 3-24, 2019. Itineraries round-trip from New York include 11 and 13 nights to the southern Caribbean, 13 nights to the western Caribbean and seven nights to the Bahamas and Florida.
The cruises are open for booking with a limited-time 'Big Apple Bonus' of up to $100 in shipboard credit and up to five free offers from a selection of unlimited open bar, a specialty dining package, Wi-Fi, shore excursion credit and third and fourth passenger in a stateroom free.
Bookings must be made by Jan. 31.
CruiseDirect.com, for one, didn't miss a beat in promoting the Norwegian Bliss deployment from New York and the special offers.

Before today, Norwegian had announced deployment for Bliss only through the ship's second Alaska season, in 2019. For its Alaska cruises in 2018 and 2019, Bliss will sail from the Port of Seattle. The ship will be positioned from PortMiami for seven-day eastern Caribbean cruises from November 2018 through March 2019.
Mexican Riviera sailings are offered on the shoulders between Alaska and the Panama Canal cruises.
