Norwegian Cruise Line introduced Specialty Dining Packages that give passengers the flexibility to choose the number of nights they’d like to dine for one set price.

On sailings beginning in August passengers can choose a Specialty Dining Package ranging from three days to the length of their entire cruise, with pricing starting at $59 per person for a three-day package when purchased online prior to departure.

An 18% gratuity and specialty service charge is added to all package pricing.

Venues include Cagney’s steak house, La Cucina Italian restaurant, Le Bistro for French cuisine and Teppanyaki, the line's signature Japanese Hibachi restaurant.

Passengers on a seven-day cruise can choose from packages ranging from three to seven nights, at a savings from the restaurant’s individual cover charges.

Specialty Dining Packages are honored in all specialty steak houses, Brazilian churrascarias, French, Japanese Hibachi and Italian restaurants. Passengers who have purchased a package additionally have the flexibility to select à la carte priced restaurants and entertainment-based restaurants for a small upcharge.

Those include $15 for Ocean Blue aboard Norwegian Getaway and Norwegian Breakaway; $10 for Cirque Dreams on Norwegian Breakaway and Norwegian Epic ($15 for premium seats, $35 VIP seating on Norwegian Breakaway); $10 for The Illusionarium ($15 for premium seats); $15 for Norwegian Escape's For the Record: Dear John Hughes, $10 for Bayamo and $7 for Pincho Tapas Bar; $7 for The Raw Bar on Norwegian Getaway and Norwegian Breakaway; and $7 for the Sushi Bar fleetwide.

Specialty Dining Packages can be purchased prior to sailing for additional savings or on board during the first two days of the cruise; on three-day itineraries the packages are exclusively sold on the first day of the voyage.

Passengers who pre-purchase a Specialty Dining Package prior to sailing can make their reservations online within 90 days of their sail date or decide when and where to dine once on board. The packages are purchased individually and passengers traveling in the same stateroom do not need to purchase packages as a group.
