As the US heads into Labor Day Weekend with its Monday holiday, Norwegian Cruise Line is waiving the government taxes, port expenses and fees for the first and second passengers in a balcony or higher category stateroom.

The 'Tax-Free Labor Day Spree' applies to select cruises of at least three days for bookings made now through Sept. 7.

Deposits are reduced 50% for new bookings made through Sept. 7 for cruises more than 90 days from their sailing date.

In another offer travelers can get up to $1,000 in on-board credit for balcony staterooms and higher categories on select Baltic cruises aboard Norwegian Getaway. The credit is per stateroom, based on category booked, and is applicable to bookings made now through Sept. 18.

The offer is combinable with Norwegian's 'Free at Sea' promotion, extended through Oct. 2.

This provides travelers who book a new three-day or longer sailing in an ocean-view, balcony or mini-suite category stateroom two free choices from five on-board amenity offers. These include free unlimited open bar, a free specialty dining package, $50 toward shore excursions in each port per stateroom, 250 minutes of free Wi-Fi or a 'Friends & Family Sail Free' offer for the third and fourth person in a stateroom on many 2017 and 2018 sailing dates.

Passengers booking inside staterooms and studio staterooms for solo travelers can choose one free offer. Those who book a suite or The Haven by Norwegian get all five free amenities, a value of up to $2,500.

Norwegian’s 'Free at Sea Hawaii' offer also has been extended through Oct. 2.

For all these promotions, certain restrictions apply.
