Beginning Jan. 3, passengers can start the New Year on a tropical vacation of 58 or 72 days with no need to worry about meals, housekeeping or laundry, Oceania said. Instead, they can bask on sunny beaches, indulge in gourmet meals and relax and rejuvenate at the Canyon Ranch Spa Club. All the while, more than 800 staff look after every detail.
'Travelers fleeing the cold and gloom of the wintry north can enjoy the vacation home of their dreams, a home that takes them to one carefree Caribbean destination after the next and affords them the luxury of being as active or laid-back as they wish,' said Bob Binder, president and ceo of Oceania Cruises.
'Snowbirds in Residence' is offered on two departures, and passengers will get several amenities and added-value extras.
Veranda stateroom fares start at $15,999 per person for Marina’s 58-day voyage departing Jan. 22 and at $19,999 per person for Riviera’s 72-day voyage sailing Jan. 3. Among the hightlights of Riviera’s itinerary are Barbados and posh St. Barts, while Marina will visit the new eco-destination of Harvest Caye, Belize.
Perks include free economy airfare or low-cost first-class air starting at $499. Gratuities are pre-paid, a value of up to $1,656 per passenger.
Plus, snowbirds get a choice of up to $4,200 in shipboard credit or up to 42 free shore excursions or a free beverage package.
