Oceania Cruises announced two special back-to-back Mediterranean sailings aboard Marina in November 2016.

Master chef Jacques Pépin, long-time executive culinary director for the line, will host the Jacques Pépin Cruise on Nov. 1 next year. Following that is the 13th annual Ocean Cruises Reunion Cruise, on Nov. 11.

Pépin's 10-day Venice to Civitavecchia (Rome) voyage will include book signings and a culinary demonstration hosted by the chef, along with other opportunities to meet him. There will be specially designed menus in the restaurants, epicurean-infused shore excursions and hands-on culinary instruction in Marina's Culinary Center, all focused on Pépin’s signature style.

'It’s such a joy sailing aboard Marina with guests who share the same passion for food, wine and overall enjoyment of life,' Pépin said. He added that the Mediterranean itinerary is a 'beautiful mix of long-established culinary destinations and some burgeoning epicurean hot spots.'

The Reunion Cruise, from Civitavecchia to Lisbon, will visit eight ports in Italy, Monaco, Spain, Gibraltar and the French Riviera. The voyage is open to all travelers but offers premium amenities for Oceania Club members (past guests).

Extras for Oceania Club members include special cocktail parties, celebratory dinners, wine pairing events in La Reserve by Wine Spectator, exclusive shore excursions, a Reunion Cruise gift and other surprises.

Cruise fares for both the Jacques Pépin Cruise and the Reunion Cruise start at $3,899 per person. An Extended Journey option combines the two voyages into a 20-night sailing with savings. Fares start at $6,599.
