Caribbean Princess - 13 cruises planned through the expanded locks
With more than 100 successful transits completed through the expanded locks, the Panama Canal Authority advised it is ready to accept booking requests for Neopanamax passenger vessels for dates starting April 1, 2017.

Lines interested in reserving slots for transit dates from April 1 through June 26, 2017, may make their requests now, according to a shipping advisory by Esteban Saenz, evp operations.

As far as Seatrade Cruise News knows, only Princesss Cruises has immediate plans to transit the expanded locks. The company is marketing thirteen 10-day cruises round-trip Fort Lauderdale that feature partial Canal transits. Sailing dates are Oct. 21, 2017, through April 1, 2018.
