CEO Frank Del Rio announced several new key direct reports at Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings, all from Prestige Cruise Holdings. In addition, Seatrade Insider has learned a veteran Norwegian Cruise Line executive is retiring, and an evp who led one of the post-merger shared services groups has left the company.

Bob Binder was named president of international operations, Howard Sherman became evp revenue management, Robin Lindsay evp vessel operations and Victor Gonzalez evp supply chain and logistics management. As earlier reported, Harry Sommer is the new svp/chief integration officer.

New international operations president Binder had been PCH vice chairman and oversaw the international strategy for Oceania Cruises and Regent Seven Seas Cruises. He was one of the members of Oceania's founding management team. EVP Andy Stuart will continue to play a key role in international sales for Norwegian Cruise Line.

Lindsay, who was evp vessel operations for PCH, takes responsibility for Norwegian Cruise Line, Oceania Cruises and Regent Seven Seas Cruises. He was a member of Oceania's founding management team.

EVP Mike Flesch has left the company. He was a five-year Norwegian Cruise Line veteran who had been made evp shipboard operations and the head of a new shared services group by former ceo Kevin Sheehan following the acquisition of PCH in November. Flesch had joined Norwegian in 2009 as vp shipboard operations and moved up to svp hotel operations prior to the evp job.

Gonzalez previously was evp passenger services for Oceania and Regent.

Seatrade Insider understands vp Alvin Dennis, Norwegian Cruise Line's long-time head of purchasing and logistics, is retiring. Dennis is one of Norwegian's longest serving employees, having chalked up about 36 years with the line.

Sherman previously was evp revenue management for PCH.

What is happening to the shared services groups Sheehan had created after the merger is unclear. Those were shipboard operations under Mike Flesch, passenger services under svp Crane Gladding, destination and port operations under svp Colin Murphy and human resources under svp John McGirl.

A Norwegian spokeswoman said she had no further details.
