Cruises between Milwaukee and Toronto
June through August, Pearl Mist will operate the 11-night 'Great Lakes & Georgian Bay' itinerary and seven-night 'Great Lakes' itinerary. Both operate between Milwaukee and Toronto, and visit numerous US and Canadian ports of call.
The 210-passenger ship offers all balcony staterooms, all-inclusive fine dining, beer and wine with lunch and dinner and guided shore excursions at every port.
Eleven nights
The 11-night itinerary explores four of the Great Lakes—Michigan, Huron, Erie and Ontario—as well as Georgian Bay, a UNESCO designated Biosphere Reserve. The program also includes a visit to Niagara Falls where passengers can take a boat tour of Horseshoe Falls, getting close enough to feel Niagara’s misty spray.
Seven nights
The weeklong cruise travels through lakes Michigan and Huron. Passengers will explore the largest freshwater ecosystem in the world and picturesque ports. Through Pearl Seas' award-winning enrichment program, they can learn about Native Americans, early explorers, traders and European settlers who influenced and developed this extraordinary region.
Shore highlights
In addition to Niagara Falls, travelers will visit scenic Muskegon, Michigan, known as the 'Riviera of the Midwest,' and the quaint town of Holland, Michigan, settled by the Dutch in 1847, and home to the only authentic working Dutch windmill in America.
In Windsor, Ontario, they can explore the Canadian 'City of Roses,' and discover the history of the automobile at the Henry Ford Museum. At Mackinac Island, Michigan, visitors step back in time, touring in a horse drawn carriage and having lunch on the veranda of the historic Grand Hotel.
And in Parry Sound, Ontario, passengers can take a seaplane tour of the South Channel and Killbear Provincial Park.
