Peter Greenberg to moderate new Seatrade 'State of the Global Cruise Industry' format
CBS News travel editor and PBS's 'The Travel Detective' Peter Greenberg will moderate Seatrade Cruise Global's 'State of the Global Cruise Industry,' which takes a new format this year.

The panel brings together the four leaders of the world’s largest cruise companies, which are innovating for the future, and concludes with three leaders of smaller companies that are executing innovative approaches, according to Robyn Duda, portfolio director for Seatrade Cruise Global. During the session's midpoint, a research analyst will provide an outside perspective.

The 'Innovating FOUR the Future' panel includes Frank Del Rio, president and ceo, Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings; Arnold Donald, president and ceo, Carnival Corp. & plc; Richard Fain, chairman and ceo, Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd.; and Pierfrancesco Vago, executive chairman, MSC Cruises.

The 'Innovative Approaches' panel features Charles Robertson, chairman and ceo, American Cruise Lines/Pearl Seas Cruises; Edie Rodriguez, president and ceo, Crystal Cruises; and Tara Russell, president, Fathom, and global impact lead, Carnival Corp. & plc.

'The new State of the Global Cruise Industry format promises to deliver a thought-provoking conversation,' said Cindy D’Aoust, acting ceo of Cruise Lines International Association. 'These iconic industry innovators are sure to deliver an informative and engaging dialogue and will be a highlight of Seatrade Cruise Global.'

Seatrade Cruise Global is in partnership with CLIA and the Florida-Caribbean Cruise Association.

The State of the Global Cruise Industry session is set for 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., March 15, at the Greater Fort Lauderdale/Broward County Convention Center.
