P&O Australia lowers on-board toddlers club to care for 2-year-olds
Toddlers who are two years old and toilet trained will now be welcome at Turtle Cove, P&O’s seagoing club for children up to the age of 6.

The minimum entry age for Turtle Cove was previously 3.

A spokeswoman for the company said this will be ‘good news’ for parents as there is no charge for admission to the club which is open each day, including port days, until late.

She said late night babysitting is also available for a nominal fee.

As well as Turtle Cove, there is a Shark Shack for 7- to 10-year-olds, HQ for children between 11 and 14 and HQ+ for teenagers between 15 and 17.

The spokeswoman said the clubs are supervised by a team of youth coordinators who oversee a huge range of games and activities.

‘The move to lower the entry age to Turtle Cove is sure to please parents,’ she said.
