Port of Halifax cruise numbers reach new high

Passenger numbers and calls topped their previous highs in 2017
2018 has been another record cruise season for the Port of Halifax. Some 316,869 passengers arrrived on 198 vessel calls. This is 8% more passengers and 14% more calls than in 2017, the prior record year for both.

'This includes the cruise lines, tour operators and providers, tourism agencies, cruise vendors, restaurant staff and owners, shopkeepers, gallery owners. It’s an incredibly long list, and it shows just how many people are involved in the cruise industry here in Halifax and across Atlantic Canada.'
