Port of Halifax extends chief executive's contract
The Halifax Port Authority board of directors unanimously approved a contract extension for Karen Oldfield, president and ceo, until December 2018.

The next few years are critical in the master planning for the Port of Halifax, the board said, and Oldfield will be leading her team through this process, focusing on building for the future.
