For the last year and a half he directed public relations and communications for the Four Seasons Resort Nevis.
Earlier, Liu spent more than eight years in corporate and brand communications at Royal Caribbean and before that was an account supervisor at M. Silver Associates, where he worked on the Voyages of Discovery cruise brand, among others.
'While my time at Four Seasons was very enriching, my first love has always been cruise ships. I am so very happy to be back in the industry, and working for the best luxury line there is at sea,' Liu told Seatrade Cruise News.
At Regent, he succeeds Jason Lasecki, who left in December.
