Princess Cruises added a pair of 14-day 'Grand Asia' voyages sailing between Shanghai and Singapore on its newest ship, Majestic Princess, which was designed for the China market.

Available to travelers throughout the world, these sailings will visit Japan, South Korea, Vietnam and Thailand in 2018, including spending more time ashore on the late night call in Hong Kong. The first voyage departs Shanghai on Feb. 25 and the second sails from Singapore on March 11.

Jan Swartz, group president of Princess and Carnival Australia, cited the positive response to Majestic Princess' recent maiden cruise. 'We are thrilled to open up the opportunity for other guests to experience our newest flagship in our fleet,' she said.

Majestic Princess features two new restaurants, La Mer, an updated Parisian bistro experience by Michelin three-star chef Emmanuel Renaut, and Harmony, serving a sophisticated Cantonese dinner menu by Michelin-star chef Richard Chen.

In addition, passengers can taste gong cha, the Chinese-style bubble milk tea, dine at the American-style steak house Crown Grill, Lobster Grill, Dim Sum Bar and Alfredo’s for pizza.

Majestic Princess shops offer luxury brands like Bvlgari, Cartier, Chopard and EFFY.

On May 21, Majestic Princess will embark on the 'Silk Road Sea Route,' a 49-day journey from Civitavecchia (Rome) to Shanghai. The ship will stop at 22 ports before reaching its new home in Shanghai, where the first cruise sails July 11.
