There will be more short cruise getaways on both coasts with Crown Princess introducing new five-day departures to the Eastern and Western Caribbean from Fort Lauderdale while Ruby Princess and Emerald Princess sail four- or five-day jaunts from Los Angeles, with an overnight in Cabo San Lucas on the five-day cruise.
In the Caribbean, five Princess ships will sail five-day getaways, seven- and eight-day cruises and voyages from 10 to 21 days.
Caribbean Princess debuts a new 14-day 'Circle Caribbean' itinerary, round-trip Fort Lauderdale, including visits to Martinique, Barbados, Trinidad, Aruba, Curaçao, Antigua, St. Maarten, St. Kitts and the line’s private beach resort, Princess Cays. The ship offers a special holiday cruise including Christmas and New Year’s Day.
Seven-day Caribbean cruises return in 2017 and 2018 with visits to the Eastern and Western Caribbean on Regal Princess, while Crown Princess alternates eight-day Eastern and Southern Caribbean and five-day getaways to the Eastern and Western Caribbean throughout the season.
Pacific Princess sails a holiday 14-day Caribbean 'Connoisseur' voyage, visiting islands not typically included on other itineraries, among them, St. Croix, Nevis, Guadeloupe, Tobago and Virgin Gorda.
Royal Princess returns to the Caribbean with 10-day 'Southern Medley' and 10-day 'Eastern Voyager' routes that can be combined for a 20-day vacation. These sailings visit St. Kitts, Barbados and St. Lucia as well as ports that are off-the-beaten path such as Dominica, Grenada and Bonaire.
On the West Coast, five ships will be deployed from three homeports—Los Angeles, San Francisco and Vancouver—to Hawaii, Mexico and the California coast.
Star Princess homeports at Los Angeles for 10 voyages to Hawaii with calls at Oahu, Maui, Kauai and the Big Island. From San Francisco Grand Princess sails seven voyages to Oahu, Maui, Kauai and the Big Island.
Round-trips from Vancouver, BC, to Hawaii are also available on Star Princess in the fall and spring. Plus, Emerald Princess features two 28-day cruises to Hawaii, Tahiti and Samoa in the fall and spring.
Mexico is offered on week-long voyages from Los Angeles to Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlán and Cabo San Lucas, or on 10-day cruises from San Francisco with the added port of Manzanillo. In addition, 10-day 'Baja Peninsula & Sea of Cortez' voyages return, sailing from Los Angeles to San Diego, Cabo San Lucas, La Paz, Loreto, Puerto Vallarta and the California coast.
Highlighting the California food and wine experience, seven-day sailings from Los Angeles and 10-day cruises from Vancouver include the new port of Monterey, giving opportunities to visit the world-famous Pebble Beach Golf Course, Monterey Bay Aquarium and breathtaking coastal views on the region’s 17-Mile Drive. Ruby Princess and Emerald Princess also sail four-day getaways from Los Angeles including Santa Barbara or Catalina Island and Ensenada, Mexico, while five-day Cabo San Lucas getaways include the overnight there.
The Emerald Princess 12-day round-trip from Los Angeles to Alaska visits Juneau, Skagway, Ketchikan and Vancouver, with scenic cruising of Glacier Bay National Park.
For the 2017/18 Americas program, Princess also provides more time in port on select itineraries in the Caribbean, California and Hawaii. Besides the Cabo San Lucas overnights, there will be extended stays at Aruba, Curaçao, St. Thomas, Cozumel, San Francisco, San Diego, Long Beach and Honolulu.
