Enchanted Princess will represent an evolution of the Royal class
The fifth Royal-class newbuild for Princess Cruises, arriving in 2020, will be called Enchanted Princess.

This 143,700gt 3,660-passenger ship follows 2019's Sky Princess.

European debut

Enchanted Princess is scheduled to debut on June 15, 2020, with a series of European voyages. Bookings for the summer inaugural season will open on Nov. 8, 2018.

'The name Enchanted Princess is captivating and conveys the elegance and grace of our new ship, which will introduce more travelers to the pleasures and value of cruising,' Princess president Jan Swartz said.

Evolution of the Royal-class platform

Enchanted Princess will be built at Fincantieri's Monfalcone yard with a design that evolves the platform used for its prior sisters.

The ship will be followed by the sixth Royal-class vessel in 2022. Princess also has two LNG-powered ships on order at Fincantieri, for delivery in late 2023 and in spring 2025, bringing its orderbook to five newbuilds in six years.
