Princess wave sale has savings, credits, free specialty dining
Princess Cruises kicked off its 50th anniversary wave season of with what the line called its biggest sale ever featuring savings destinations around the globe.

During the Princess Cruises 50th Anniversary Sale, travelers can save up to $500 per person on all cruises of seven days and longer, departing between May and December 2015.

In addition, they will receive free dining for two at one of the line’s specialty restaurants and up to $200 per stateroom of on-board credit.

Savings of up to 50% are offered on third and fourth guests in a stateroom. Plus, travelers can reserve their cruise with a reduced, refundable deposit of $100 per person.

Examples of deals include a seven-day Alaska cruise starting at $599 per person in an inside room or $1,299 in a balcony room. A 12-day 'Grand Mediterranean' cruise is priced starting at $1,899 per person in an inside room and $2,499 in a balcony room.

A 12-day Caribbean cruise begins at $549 in an inside room and $799 in a balcony room. The same starting prices are available for a seven-day Mexico sailing.

The sale runs through Feb. 26 and is available to residents of the US, Canada, Puerto Rico, Mexico and Bermuda.
