Princess will send its largest ship ever to South America in 2019

Royal Princess will operate a 49-day voyage around the southern continent
In early 2019, the 141,000gt Royal Princess will become Princess Cruises' largest ship ever to sail South America. The 49-day voyage from Fort Lauderdale to Los Angeles departs Feb. 2 and is available in segments.

The 24 ports of the full journey include destinations in the Caribbean, Brazil, Uruguay, Argentina, the Falkland Islands, Chile, Peru, Costa Rica, Nicaragua and Mexico.

Royal Princess offers the interactive Ocean Medallion experience.

Emerald Princess will also sail South America in the newly announced 2018/19 season.

Both ships will offer an overland adventure to Machu Picchu on their 16-day 'Andes & South America' cruises between Valparaíso and Los Angeles, which can be combined with a 14-day Cape Horn cruise for a 30-day 'Andes & Cape Horn Grand Adventure.'

Both ships also sail 19-day 'Brazilian Adventure' cruises between Fort Lauderdale and Buenos Aires, which can be combined with the 14-day Cape Horn cruises for a 33-day 'Cape Horn & Brazil Grand Adventure.'
