Pullmantur Cruises is offering electric bike tours on Horizon’s Adriatic and Greek Islands itineraries this summer.

Together with a guide instructor, small groups of passengers equipped with helmets, water and energy bars, can experience the scenery and cities on both itineraries, on routes specially designed for maximum enjoyment on two wheels.

According to president & ceo of Pullmantur Cruises, Richard J. Vogel, ‘the beauty of the stopovers included in these routes is undeniable: each city has its own unique stamp, and nobody will be left indifferent.’

By implementing this new offer, ‘we seek to continue evolving, adapting our product to the tastes of our Spanish guests, who are showing an increasing passion for cycling, offering them the chance to discover some of the most representative places in Europe in a way they perhaps never imagined: on an electric bike,’ says Vogel.

Pedal to the Acropolis or round Dubrovnik

Guests on board Horizon will be able to pedal to the Acropolis in Athens, discover the old towns of Corfu, Dubrovnik and Padua, take in views from the mountains of Rumija in Bar, tour the island of Mykonos, view the bay of Volos and the nature of Chania.

Each bike's four power levels allows passengers to set the paddle-assist level as required.

Pullmantur first incorporated electric bike tours last summer as part of its North Europe itineraries and it has since been extended to include itineraries around the Caribbean and the Canary Islands.
