Pullmantur chief Richard J. Vogel invites agents to share the sights and tastes of Britain
Pullmantur Cruises created training sessions for 250 Spanish travel agents at which they were invited to go on a sensory trip exploring the British Islands, one of the line’s newest itineraries for summer 2019.

The training sessions took place this week at Pullmantur offices, which were transformed into an authentic British pub (The Explorer) especially for the occasion and featured some of the places featuring on Zenith’s 14-night trip with inspirational videos, images, music, gastronomy and drinks.

Part of Pullmantur’s Exclusive Destinations - Dreams that become Journey's sub-brand, the itineraries feature boutique ports and themed onboard and shoreside activities linked to immersion of the destinations.

Tour of the British Isles

Zenith’s British Isles cruise is a round trip Trondheim sailing departing from Norway on July 6, 2019 and includes flights from Madrid and Barcelona.

Calls include Lerwick (Shetland Islands), Invergordon, S. Queensferry (Edinburgh), Kirkwall (Orkney Islands) then onto, Dublin, Liverpool, Belfast, back to Scotland for Greenock (Glasgow) sailing to Thorshaven (Faroe Islands) and return to Trondheim.

Immersion included information and the history of each of the destinations including understanding of the kilt, the origins of whisky, the islands that are part of Scotland, and what to find in the Faroe Islands.

President & ceo of Pullmantur Cruises, Richard J. Vogel, explained ‘over the course of this year we are going to place special emphasis on training for travel agents – our main commercial partners – via a range of innovative, fun actions designed especially for them.’

This type of training day is key to ensuring they fully understand all our latest products and the particularities of the holiday option we offer, he added.
