Québec reports third consecutive record year
For the third consecutive year, the Port of Québec broke its own record welcoming 180,836 passengers, compared to 162,000 passengers in 2013.

The Canada-New England port saw 26 different ships call 109 times this year. They brought  45,000 crew and 135,000 passengers.

‘Québec is the busiest port for international cruises on the St. Lawrence,’ said Mario Girard, president and ceo, Québec Port Authority, who thanked local stakeholders for their work this season.

This year, the Port of Québec welcomed its one millionth passenger since the construction of the Ross Gaudreault Cruise Terminal in 2002. The passenger arrived on October 10 aboard Seabourn Quest.

Six ships made maiden calls: Pearl Mist, Seabourn Quest, Hamburg, Crystal Serenity, Ruby Princess and Legend of the Seas.

A record six Holland America Line ships called this season.

During the weekend of October 3, the port berthed six ships on the same day welcoming more than 20,000 passengers and crew members.
