Starting next year, tour conductor credits will be earned based on the average fare of the stateroom categories booked
Royal Caribbean International, Celebrity Cruises and Azamara Club Cruises are changing the way they tally travel agent group sales to award tour conductor credits.

Beginning with groups sailing in 2018, agents' tour conductor credits will be calculated in a way that's more valuable to them, by using the average cruise fare of the total stateroom categories booked within a group.

Tour conductor credits for groups sailing before Jan. 1, 2018, will continue with the current policy of being determined by the cruise fare of the stateroom category where the group has booked the most space.

The three cruise lines said the new policy was developed based on agent feedback.
