Parker brought 'a lot of energy and ideas to the company and we are grateful for his contributions,' said RCL's Rob Zeiger, global chief communications officer.
A consumer products veteran, Parker has more than 20 years of experience with brands including Sabra Dipping Co., Deloitte & Touche, Colgate Palmolive, Campbell Soup and Nabisco Food Co. Before joining RCL, he had been VP and chief human resources officer at Sabra Dipping Co.
At Royal Caribbean, he reported to Adam Goldstein, president and COO.
The company has started a search for Parker's successor.
