What will this ship, debuting in 2020, be named?
Regent Seven Seas Cruises is asking customers and travel agents: 'What will be the name of the world’s next most luxurious ship?'

The vessel will launch in early 2020, and three lucky participants who submit name suggestions will receive a free suite aboard the christening voyage.

'We’re seeking the perfect name for our next new ship, and who would know better than our loyal guests and valued travel agent partners?' said Jason Montague, president and CEO, Regent Seven Seas Cruises.

The line, he noted, is characterized by luxurious vessels, worldwide itineraries and exceptional staff and crew who deliver highly personalized service. 'The name of our new ship will embody all of these qualities, as well as our quarter-century legacy of the world’s most inclusive luxury experience,' Montague said.

Suggestions for names are being taken from Sept. 5 through Sept. 29. Qualifying submissions must be in English, begin with 'Seven Seas' and end with 'er' or 'or,' consistent with the existing fleet's Seven Seas Explorer, Seven Seas Mariner, Seven Seas Voyager and Seven Seas Navigator.

Three winners will be randomly selected and announced by Nov. 15. A company spokesman said the name of the ship is not connected to the names submitted for the sweepstakes.

Each winner will receive a suite for themselves and a guest aboard the christening voyage of the new fifth ship. The sweepstakes is open to US and Canadian residents, except Québec, and additional restrictions may apply.
