September issue - just out
How CEO Arnold Donald is fueling innovation at Carnival Corp. & plc and shaping future leaders is the cover story focus of Seatrade Cruise Review's September issue, which has just debuted at Seatrade Europe in Hamburg.

The story delves into how Donald fosters strength in diversity and looks at key leadership moves this year, including Stein Kruse, CEO of the Holland America Group, adding responsibility for Carnival UK, and Michael Thamm, CEO of the Costa Group, also taking on Carnival Asia oversight.

Other rising stars within the organization are featured, as well, along with Kruse and Thamm's observations on a variety of people and industry issues.

The latest Seatrade Cruise Review also profiles 'Man of the moment' in China, Zinan Liu, who has built up Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd.'s business there from scratch inside eight years.

Other coverage hones in on markets and destinations including North Asia, Southeast Asia, the Gulf of Mexico and Bermuda. Cruising's record orderbook is detailed, and extended features cover North Europe and the Mediterranean.

Ship profiles include MSC Meraviglia, and there's a look at 'Cool exploration tools' that will appear on various expedition newbuilds from Hurtigruten, Scenic, Ponant and Lindblad Expeditions.

Germany's operators, shipyards, excursions and river cruises are highlighted, along with the double-wide newbuild AmaMagna, a report on Canada/New England's new year-round cruise strategy, an interview with P&O Cruises Australia's Sture Myrmell, the latest in propulsion solutions and significant ship refurbishments.
