2019 world cruise sails from Los Angeles to Monte Carlo in 84 days
For its 'Grand Continental Odysseys' in 2019, Crystal Serenity will sail from Los Angeles to Monte Carlo, exploring Hawaii, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and the Mediterranean. The 84-day world cruise embarks Jan. 14 and will be available in four segments.

Revealing the itinerary on Tuesday aboard Crystal Serenity's current world voyage, Crystal Cruises president and ceo Edie Rodriguez told passengers they'd be able to discover their 'wild side' as the 2019 cruise visits regions known for wilderness adventures, wildlife and extreme heights and depths.

Safaris, treks throughout the Outback and Madagascar and Hawaii adventures to the top of volcanoes and the colorful bottom of the ocean are all on the 'to-do' list for days spent in these magnificent ports, Rodriguez wrote on her blog.

'Of course, if you’re like me, you’ll also want to mix in some decidedly cosmopolitan luxury and iconic experiences between the ruggedness. VIP access to Sydney’s Opera House, getting lost in the wonder of Barcelona’s Sagrada Família and relishing the glamour of the Palais Princier de Monaco in Monte Carlo (or really all things in Monte Carlo) will fit this bill perfectly,' she added.

The 2019 world cruise is open for booking now.

Rodriguez also issued 'save the dates' for new Crystal experiences.

The bigger ship experience, Crystal Exclusive Class and Crystal Residences (the top deck of homes with private facilities, dining venues and amenities), is set for fall 2019 introduction. It originally had been announced for late 2018.

Crystal Luxury Air is available for booking now aboard a 12-seat Bombardier Global Express XRS jet that will transport travelers to meet virtually any Crystal voyage, anywhere. The aircraft was unveiled during a special event at Seatrade Cruise Global in March.

River vessel Crystal Mozart debuts July 13 on the Danube, while in 2017, Crystal Debussy begins service June 4 on the Seine, Crystal Bach June 18 on the Rhine, Crystal Ravel Aug. 8 on the Garonne and Dordogne, and Crystal Mahler Aug. 29 on the Rhine, Main and Danube.

Crystal AirCruises are coming in 2017 aboard a specially configured twin-aisle Boeing 777-200LR with 88 seats. Fourteen- and 28-day around-the-world itineraries are in store.

Crystal Yacht Cruises' newbuild, Crystal Endeavor, also announced at Seatrade Cruise Global, will debut in August 2018.
