For the first time Royal Caribbean International will operate two ships from Cape Liberty Cruise Port in Bayonne, New Jersey, when Rhapsody of the Seas joins Anthem of the Seas in 2017.

This provides two different experiences for passengers from the New York area. Besides Quantum-class cruising on Anthem, there will be a more intimate style of cruising with the Vision-class Rhapsody.

Rhapsody of the Seas will sail seven-night cruises to the Bahamas throughout the summer, while Anthem of the Seas will sail to Bermuda in the summer and the Caribbean year-round on five-, seven- and nine-night itineraries.

In the autumn, Anthem of the Seas will sail nine-night voyages to New England and Canada. And Rhapsody of the Seas will return to its seasonal Tampa sailings for winter 2017/18.

Rhapsody is scheduled to arrive at Cape Liberty in May next year, following its winter season in Tampa. This summer the ship is operating in the Mediterranean, primarily on cruises from Venice.
