Radiance of the Seas will make the company’s maiden calls at Vava’u and Nuku’alofa in the Kingdom of Tonga on a 13-night South Pacific cruise from Sydney on December 3, Royal Caribbean International md Australia and New Zealand, Adam Armstrong, has announced.

‘We’ve had our eye on Tonga as a destination for our guests for some time, with its vibrant culture, diverse marine life and stunning natural beauty,’ Armstrong said.

‘Radiance of the Seas is the perfect size for us to explore new ports in our region, paving the way for a number of new, exciting destinations for our guests.’

As previously reported, the 2,400-passenger Radiance of the Seas will be the first cruise ship to visit Wollongong’s Port Kembla Harbour on the NSW south coast on October 30 during a seven-night East Coast and Tasmania cruise departing Sydney October 24.

Radiance of the Seas arrives in Sydney on October 9 to commence her sixth consecutive extended summer season in Australia.
