Royal Caribbean veteran lands new gig at SSA Marine

Dustin Nason brings more than a decade of experience in global cruise port and terminal operations
Dustin Nason has joined Seattle-based SSA Marine as VP, SSA Cruise Division. SSA Marine operates cruise facilities in Alaska, the Pacific Northwest, Mexico and other locations, handling millions of cruise passengers each year.

Leading global cruise efforts

Based in Miami, Nason will oversee all cruise development and marketing and alongside SSA’s existing country-based teams will oversee operational and financial performance of cruise operations and related services. High-level quality services and customer satisfaction will remain core deliverables for the SSA Cruise Division teams.

Extensive experience

Nason has extensive experience with port operations on a global scale. With more than a decade of experience in global cruise port and terminal operations, he has in-depth knowledge of cruise line operations.

Previously, as director, worldwide port operations for Royal Caribbean, Nason oversaw port services, managed port and terminal relationships and led contracting and infrastructure development for Royal Caribbean International, Celebrity Cruises and Azamara Club Cruises. He began his career with Royal Caribbean in 2005, as manager, continuous improvement, where he helped solve some of the business’ s most complex challenges.
