Royal Princess' new bow livery
Royal Princess emerged from drydock today with new livery featuring the Princess Cruises logo.

Royal Princess is the first ship in the fleet to sail with the new hull design. Majestic Princess, under construction by Fincantieri, will have the livery, too.

The 3,600-passenger Royal Princess went into drydock in Palermo on September 25. The work included adding a midships stairwell, a feature this class of ships lacked.

Royal Princess is currently sailing to Civitavecchia (Rome) to start a repositioning cruise to winter homeport Port Everglades. Ports along the way include Livorno, Toulon, Barcelona and the Azores.

The ship will be sailing in the Mediterranean next summer.
