Crystal's 2017 world cruise features new calls in Chile, Peru, Guatemala
CFour maiden calls in the Americas are offered on Crystal Serenity's 2017 'Southern Celebración' world voyage. The 94-day cruise operates round-trip from Miami to destinations in Mexico, Belize, Honduras, Peru, Ecuador, Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, Brazil and the Caribbean, with scenic sailing in Antarctica.

The new ports include Santo Tomás de Castilla, Guatemala, offering rugged adventures, ancient UNESCO World Heritage-listed Mayan ruins and exotic foliage and wildlife.

The small fishing port of Matarani, Peru, serves as the gateway to Arequipa, a UNESCO-listed town surrounded by three volcanoes, each towering at heights of around 20,000 feet.

In Chile, Iquique’s mining history evokes America's Old West. Plus,  there's restored Georgian and Victorian architecture, duty-free shopping, wide swaths of beach and a sea with terrific surfing and paragliding.

And Chiloé on Castro Island is Chile’s third oldest city in continued existence. It, too, offers UNESCO sites plus renowned archaeological and contemporary art museums.
