Sales open for Koningsdam's inaugural Caribbean season
Travelers can now book Caribbean cruises aboard Holland America Line’s newest ship, Koningsdam. After entering service in Europe in April 2016, the vessel will sail seven- to 11-day cruises from Port Everglades, November 2016 through March 2017.

'It’s going to be a fantastic inaugural season,' HAL president Orlando Ashford said.

Koningsdam will offer nine-, 10- and 11-day Caribbean itineraries. Seven- and nine-day holiday cruises depart Dec. 23 and Dec. 30. The ship’s longer itineraries include such destinations as Aruba, Bonaire, Curaçao, Jamaica, Martinique and St. Lucia.

In January and February 2017, there will be six departures of two different seven-day cruises. One itinerary includes the Turks and Caicos, Puerto Rico, the US Virgin Islands and Half Moon Cay. The other visits Half Moon Cay, Grand Cayman, Mexico and Key West.
