Seabourn Ovation's delivery is scheduled for April 27
Seabourn Ovation has returned to Fincantieri's Sestri Ponente for final outfitting following four days of sea trials in the Mediterranean off the coast of Italy.

The ship's delivery is scheduled for April 27.

'We’re now weeks away from delivery, and I’m very pleased with the progress and preparedness of the ship now that sea trials are complete,' Seabourn president Rick Meadows said. 'Our first revenue guests will board on May 5, and I know they will be excited to see this newest addition to the Seabourn fleet.'

Seabourn Ovation's 11-day inaugural voyage will sail from Venice to Barcelona, and the ship’s naming ceremony will take place mid-way through that, on May 11, at Valletta, Malta. Actresses and singer Elaine Paige will serve as godmother.

The ship will spend most of its maiden season in Northern Europe, offering a series of seven-day Baltic and Scandinavian sailings between Copenhagen and Stockholm that include a three-day stay at St. Petersburg. Seabourn Ovation will also sail longer 14-day voyages to the Norwegian Fjords and British Isles.

Seabourn Ovation is the sister of Seabourn Encore.
