Seabourn Sojourn's recent dry dock added the signature restaurant, The Grill by Thomas Keller, and the mindful living program created by Dr. Andrew Weil.

Other updates included new carpet and design touches in public areas and refreshed suites. The Owner's, Signature and Wintergarden suites in particular were notably enhanced with new furniture and soft goods.

Now both The Grill by Thomas Keller and the Spa & Wellness program with Weil are available fleetwide, Seabourn president Rick Meadows pointed out, with the next iteration of these partnerships to come on Seabourn Ovation when it launches in the spring.

Exclusive to Seabourn, The Grill is reminiscent of a classic American restaurant of the 1950s and '60s, with updated version of iconic dishes. These include table-side preparations of Caesar salad and ice cream sundaes and other favorites like premium steaks, whole roasted chicken and lobster thermidor, presented à la carte. The freshest products from artisan purveyors are highlighted.

A special cocktail program and premium wine list of domestic and old world labels complement the menu. Designed by Adam Tihany, the Grill provides an elegant, masculine setting.

Created in conjunction with The Onboard Spa by Steiner, Spa & Wellness with Dr. Andrew Weil is led by a Mindful Living Coach, certified in yoga and meditation. The program entails daily meditation and yoga, with some sessions offered on a complimentary basis.

Complimentary Mind and Body seminars are adapted from Weil's best-selling books and research, and range from 'Spontaneous Happiness & Spontaneous Healing' to 'Healthy Aging.' One-on-one wellness sessions on select topics and a variety of wellness services are also available for a fee.

Seabourn Sojourn is operating 'Extended Explorations' during the first part of 2018, giving a more in-depth experience of a particular region, or traversing from one region to another. These longer cruises frequently include more overnight stays in port. The ship will return to Alaska for the summer and feature Ventures by Seabourn excursions, a for-charge program that facilitates up-close looks at the natural beauty and environment.
