Claudia Schug, who manages her family's winery with her brother Axel, will be on board to host two complimentary wine tastings. Schug will also host a Winemaker's Dinner featuring pairings from Schug Carneros Estate Winery's cellar.
'The estate is highly regarded in the world of wine and having the legendary family on our St. Thomas voyage creates a real draw. In addition, wine clubs are finding these voyages make an ideal group vacation,' SeaDream Yacht Club president Bob Lepisto said.
The Schug wine sailing will close the 2018 SeaDream Wine Voyage season, which features renowned wineries from around the world on sailings in the Mediterranean and the Caribbean. The cruise aboard SeaDream II will embark Nov. 17 and visit the boutique ports of St. John, St. Barts, Virgin Gorda, Tortola and Jost Van Dyke.
On all SeaDream voyages, bar drinks and selected wines are included. Wine packages by the glass during Winemaker's Dinner and Wine Land Adventures are offered for an additional cost.
