MSC Seaside's entertainment offerings also include bowling, virtual reality gaming and two one-of-a-kind LEGO rooms for kids
When MSC Seaside debuts in December, the ship will offer MSC Cruises' first improvisational comedy show. The line teamed with North American comedy troupe BeerProv, famed for instantly creating hilarious, unscripted sketches based on audience suggestions.

Performances will be held six nights a week in the Metropolitan Theatre. This new 45-minute concept features four comedians and includes a high level of audience participation.

In addition, seven original Broadway-style shows were developed for the 934-seat theater. They include 'My Life in Music,' presenting famous movie soundtracks performed live, while the 'The Wizard' features illusions, and 'Peter Punk' provides a fresh new take on Peter Pan.

Also for the first time on MSC Cruises, passengers will be able to choose from up to four performances of a Broadway-style show each evening, starting from 6 p.m. and running until late. The shows will feature 14 variety artists, 15 dancers and five singers offering an assortment of acts.

For kids, two LEGO rooms will be unique to MSC Seaside. The Mini Club - LEGO Sailor room, for kids 3 to 6, is themed to mirror the ship’s Caribbean environment, with sailors made entirely from LEGOs. The Junior Club - LEGO Pirates, for kids 7 to 11, is filled with the latest LEGO toys, video games and kits, this time with pirates made of LEGOs.

Parents can get a night to themselves by dropping their kids off at late night group babysitting services, available for ages 3 to 11, from 11 p.m. until 2 a.m. During port days, parents can leave their kids from 9 a.m. until 11 p.m., at no charge.

Each kids’ club will be equipped with cutting-edge enticements including 3-D printing, virtual reality gaming and 3-D product scanning.

For the whole family, the Metropolitan Theatre will host screenings of popular family movies up to twice per cruise. Also, on every port day, one of the kids’ clubs will be available to kids with their parents.

Other new features include an interactive game show, 'Buzzer the Game,' offering kids and teens a chance to test their music, pop culture and sports knowledge in a team game taking place in the disco.

A high-tech entertainment area offers an F1 racing simulator, immersive XD cinema, two full-sized bowling lanes and a host of arcade games. Two of the longest zip lines at sea will take passengers on a high-speed thrill ride, finishing at the back of the ship. Riders can zip on their own or race a friend, side by side.

New shows in MSC Seaside's atrium will also offer surprise performances. Game shows, flash mobs, karaoke and more take place in this space.
