Seatrade Cruise Global unveils conference themes, early bird savings
From the state of the global cruise industry and key regions, to market trends, operations, regulatory issues, destinations and more, the Seatrade Cruise Global 2016 conference program offers a comprehensive roster of panel discussions and workshops.

Seatrade Cruise Global is set for March 14-17 at the Greater Fort Lauderdale/Broward County Convention Center. Registration is open to attendees at a reduced rate through the early bird discount available until Jan. 31.  

'We have crafted the 2016 program to be more innovative than ever with technical workshops and roundtable sessions with industry experts that will encourage audience participation,' said Robyn Duda, portfolio director for Seatrade Cruise Global.

March 14 kicks off the week with two workshops, 'Shore Excursions and the Rise of Voluntourism' and 'Seasonality and Its Impact on Deployment.'

Cruising's most influential top leaders will appear on 'State of the Global Cruise Industry,' always a highlight, which takes place the morning of March 15. This flagship event of the conference will cover hot topics like Cuba, expansion in Asia, geopolitical issues affecting the cruise industry and more. Chief executives from Carnival Corp. & plc, Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd., Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings and MSC Cruises are scheduled.

On the afternoon of March 15, sessions include 'The State of the Industry: Upscale Cruising' and 'Global Ports & Terminals—Globalization Examined' as well as an expert presentation, 'Cybercrime on the High Seas: How Cyber Attacks Occur and What You Can Do About Them.'

'The State of the Cruise Industry: Americas' and 'The State of the Cruise Industry: Europe' highlight the morning of March 16, while 'The State of the Industry: Asia/Australasia' and 'The State of the Industry: Caribbean & Cuba' are set for the afternoon.

Additional March 16 panels delve into 'Regulations: What You Need to Know,' 'Generation Z: The Next Big Disruptor' and 'Fuel for Thought: The Viability of LNG.'

On the morning of March 17, the conferences are 'Where To and Why? Factors Influencing Deployment and Itinerary Strategies' and 'Trends and Challenges in Marketing, Sales & Distribution.'

Discounted pricing is available until Jan. 31 through early bird attendee registration.
