All delegates attending Seatrade Europe in Hamburg next month are invited to the virtual keel-laying ceremony, via live stream, for the first of AIDA’s next generation of fully LNG-powered cruise ships.

Carnival Corp & plc will hold the event on September 6, 2017 from 12:15-12:45 hrs at Hamburg Messe und Congress, in the main conference room directly after the Seatrade Europe Cruise & River Cruise Convention opening conference session.

The historic keel-laying at Meyer Werft's Papenburg yard is for the first of seven new LNG-powered ships ordered by Carnival for Carnival Cruise Line, P&O Cruises UK, Costa Cruises and AIDA Cruises.

The ships will be built by the German and Finnish shipbuilders' Meyer Werft and Meyer Turku with delivery between 2018 and 2022.
