Culinary Arts Kitchen - individual cooking stations in a venue with floor-to-ceiling windows
Seven Seas Explorer will debut Regent Seven Seas Cruises' first culinary instruction center, the Culinary Arts Kitchen, and a new social venue, the Meridian Lounge.

The Culinary Arts Kitchen will provide a setting for passengers to expand their culinary skills in an environment reminiscent of prestigious cooking schools in France. Eighteen individual cooking stations sit atop three long curved rows with white quartzite countertops and stainless steel accents.

Passengers attending classes will receive highly-individualized instruction, and each student will cook at their own personal workstation. The workstations are equipped with top-of-the-line induction cooktops, stainless steel sinks other cooking essentials.

A decorative motif filled with abstract images of culinary ingredients and French-inspired recipes highlight an accent wall near the entrance of the Deck 11 Culinary Arts Kitchen, which will have floor-to-ceiling windows.

The instruction topics include healthy cooking, fish and shellfish preparation, food and wine pairings, mini-desserts, high-heat grilling and classes inspired by the destinations visited by the ship.

The Meridian Lounge, meanwhile, will host live musical performances on an intimate stage. Located on Deck 5, port side, the venue will be decorated in elegant taupe leather furnishings and dark wood accent tables atop blue carpet. Polished antique brown granite flooring surrounds a curved bar with an antique silver finish and back-lit alabaster top. A rosewood parquet dance floor fronts the stage.

Steps away from the entrance to the Constellation Theater, the Meridian Lounge is conveniently situated for pre- or post-show cocktails.
