Seven Seas Mariner hits the right note for Australia circumnavigation

Regent Seven Seas Cruises’ Seven Seas Mariner sailed from Sydney Saturday night on the company’s first circumnavigation of Australia after a concert on board for passengers and patrons of Opera Australia.

Chartreuse addition

Earlier, Steve Odell, svp and md Asia Pacific for Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings, hosted a media dinner in the Chartreuse restaurant, a new addition to the ship following her bow-to-stern refurbishment this year.

Regent Seven Seas Cruises’ Seven Seas Navigator, which visited Australia in 2002 on the first world voyage operated by what was then Radisson Seven Seas Cruises, arrives in Sydney from Papeete on February 11. She leaves the following day on a 24-night voyage to Hong Kong.

Odell told his guests there is great excitement about Seven Seas Explorer’s departure from Singapore on December 20, 2020, on her maiden voyage to Australia.
