Special Aloha welcome for Mein Schiff 2 in Toulon

Special Aloha welcome for Mein Schiff 2 in Toulon
Passengers and crew of TUI Cruises' Mein Schiff 2 – which called at La Seyne-sur-Mer cruise terminal in the bay of Toulon on Saturday - woke up to the sound of Tahitian music and dancing, performed by a local Polynesian band informs the Var Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

This off-beat welcome ceremony was organized in conjunction with the Pacific Festival which took place in La Seyne-sur-Mer last weekend.

A small Tahitian community lives in the area linked to Toulon’s large naval base.

About 45 dancers and singers, dressed in bright traditional costumes, entertained the Mein Schiff 2 passengers and crew on the pier singing songs accompanied by guitars and ukuleles.
